please forgive me my little man. I feel like I failed you in so many ways. i miss you with all the breathe i tried to breathe back into your beautiful body and soul and hope you know i love you with every tear, breath and cell left in this heartbroken fucked up body. i so wish i could be the one to take your place. i'd do it in a heartbeat because i don't know if can live without seeing your sweet, sweet smile again.

Bless you. Perhaps that person has never had a child and doesn't realize the frustration we mothers all feel from time to time. Thank you for your honesty, for I certainly thought and articulated similar thoughts when my daughters were growing up. We mothers understand sleep deprivation and frustration. I am sure there is nothing. Nothing. More empty or lonely than losing a child. I have read your blog for awhile and have gathered that you are a Christian. I am struck that your son died an Good Friday/Easter Sunday. God lost a Son too on Good Friday. He knows your despair and the depth of your pain. His Son rose again from the dead.
